The yoga I practice and share in my studio includes Gentle and Hatha yoga and a Stretch and Strengthen class. All of my classes are suitable for every level of yoga practitioner from beginner to advanced yogis.
My style of teaching is authentic to who I am. You will find my classes to be supportive, on the gentle side (still with a good workout, though!), and riddled with human-ness: I am not perfect, I sometimes (often) confuse my right and left, you may see or hear one of my cats or the dog, I laugh at myself (but never at you), and I can’t do all the yoga poses in the world.
My mission in teaching yoga is to provide space for all people to explore the bountiful gifts that yoga can offer to each and every one of us.
I believe that practicing yoga allows us to thrive and flourish, to be strong and resilient, and to lead our lives with more compassion, mindfulness, and authenticity. I work to share yoga with others by making yoga inclusive, affordable, and accessible in an alignment-focused, gentle, and nourishing way.
When you take one of my classes you will know that you are in a community of other like-minded yogis who are doing their best to show up and keep it real!
I do my very best to teach each class with thoughtful intent, compassion, and love for this mind, body, and soul exercise.
I hope to see you on the mat soon!
Namaste,
Dawn
P.S. I strive to price my live classes with the intent of sharing this practice with, and expanding access to, as many people as possible. Really, I just want to share the positive affects of yoga that I’ve experienced with whoever else wants to reap the benefits.
