Hatha Yoga - All Levels

Hatha yoga is often the type of class one thinks of when they think of yoga (Sun Salutations, Downward Facing Dog, etc.). I teach Hatha in a way that supports all levels of practice by offering different modifications to either increase or decrease the level of difficulty for most poses. You can expect class to begin with a series of poses intended to warm the body and calm the mind. Once the body is warm and ready for more movement, we begin a series of sun salutations with variations. There will often be a balance pose or two before beginning the cool down postures. As always, the last 5 minutes, or so, is dedicated to conscious release of effort in our final resting pose: Savasana
