Stretch + Strengthen - All Levels

Stretch + Strengthen has two parts: the first is intended to stretch the muscles, the fascia system, and the ligaments; the second part is to strengthen our muscles. You can expect to hold poses a little longer in this class, during both the stretch and the strengthening parts of class. This is nourishing class and there are always cues given to remind you to back out of a pose or to sink into a pose more deeply. As always, you will want to listen to what your body is telling you – your body is the guide for this (and all) yoga classes. The last 7 minutes, or so, is dedicated to conscious release of effort in our final resting pose: Savasana.
